Is there a cosmic conspiracy to (en)lighten us up? The finale of the current celestial events is the total solar eclipse on April 8th (also a supermoon, when the moon is closest to Earth!) The equinox portal and “eclipse window” officially end that day, but the sun’s energy will continue to be more active for several days as it winds down. We won’t return to “normal” - underlying those events is an overall increase in solar activity. The sun’s eleven-year solar flare cycle is peaking in 2024!

It’s critical to understand the exponential potential we have to resource, change, and reset our destiny at this time. We are in for quite the ride, if you decide to jump on it! We have a conjunction of events - time markers - and each one is a significant opportunity to inhale fresh, invigorating energy. The energy of spring and growth. The equinox, Easter, and then a double eclipse are all happening in the span of a few weeks. Underlying it all is the Year of the Dragon energy. So take advantage of the wind beneath your wings (and spring IS the windy season.) Now is a good time to activate your magic!

We measure time in natural cycles; days and nights, the waxing and waning moon and seasons. Equinoxes and solstices are calculated according to the positions of the earth and the sun. The fall equinox is today, September 22nd - when day and night are the same length.
Ancient peoples created monuments marking the precise moment of the seasonal shift. Why? In earlier times people lived more “in tune” with nature. We may think it’s less relevant for us today, but our bodies tell a different story!

Welcome Spring Equinox! As Carly Simon sang, “Anticipation… is keeping me wa-aa-aa-iting…” We can now envision returning to socializing, travel and attending events in the near future. So we are planning! Hopeful! Oh, the places we’ll go… even if it’s just the coffee shop, gym or museum. It’s within our grasp if we just stay the course a little longer. It will be a new normal but much will stay with us; WFH, masks in flu season, Zoom and the advantages of online technology, and - the pets we adopted!
