We are under the influence of so much right now! As galactic activity ramps up, and the political stakes grow ever more critical, it’s a chicken or egg scenario – what came first? It’s more like a simultaneous outburst, each dynamic feeding the other. The main quality of the world today is instability (more than usual!) In the soup, we just had 3 days (September 3rd to October 2nd) of peak geomagnetic activity - an unusually long duration.
All of earth was supercharged – the crust, mantle, atmosphere, ionosphere and all of us living here. Sunspots and solar flares are elevated right now too. Comets and an “interstellar object” are zinging through the galaxy, which might account for increased solar activity.
A coronal mass ejection (CME) is different; it erupts from the sun, traveling to the earth and putting pressure on it. When it ends, a “vacuum” of sorts is created; it’s like squishing a rubber ball and releasing it. The earth also contracts and releases. Research has linked CME’s to earthquakes following a few days afterwards. It’s like a giant stress test, seeing where the weak points might rupture!
We had earthquake activity in this recent time frame, the strongest being a 6.9 in the Philippines. The interesting thing is that it WAS NOT precipitated by a CME - but we do have a coronal hole (where CME’s originate) coming around to face earth as you read this. Will there be earthquakes as a result?
The everyday planetary field we live in, the Schumann Resonances (which can also correspond to earthquake activity) are generally found at 8, 14, 20, and 26Hz. These frequencies overlap with our brain waves and all other life on earth (it’s like an electromagnetic womb). In this same recent period, there is evidence of unusual activity in the 33Hz range.
What does it all mean? Hold your horses, hang on, and stay connected to the earth!* Practice was never more important to our sanity.
Feelings spike with more speed and intensity, along with everything else. During life’s inevitable ups and downs, I remember that it won’t last. I cherish precious encounters and look for deeper revelations behind any given moment. When the onslaught of despairing events is rapid fire, that perspective and process gets harder. We have to be more intentional in seeking out connection, groundedness, and joy.
