It just peaked! There’s always a little sigh of relief after a full moon – especially the Supermoon today. Its out-sized influence on our emotional tides is complemented by the ongoing water trine of Jupiter, Neptune, Saturn and Mercury (in water sign Scorpio.) At the new moon on November 20th, these trined planets were retrograde; now they’ve gone direct. But it’s not all about feeling! The moon in Gemini brings clarity and sharp focus - in preparation for the bigger energies later this month.

I've been in regular communication with 3iAtlas and will relate more about that as we approach December 19th, when it will be nearest to the earth. It had its closest encounters with Mars on October 3rd, and Venus on November 3rd; at this full moon Venus and Mars are in a superior conjunction with the sun. The Moon and Gemini represent emotions and the mind, the internal and external – mirroring that amplified Venus-Mars relationship.

Bringing those energies into dynamic balance, through the insight and clarity inspired by Gemini, is what's being called for. It’s not so much the external understanding of the masculine and feminine but how those qualities are playing out within us. Ultimately, each person is a combination of yin and yang, male and female. Everyone will have a different ratio, but these energies should still be complementary. It’s important to know ourselves, to honor and express all that is lively within us.

Astrology seems to always be about reflection, release and moving forward – well, change IS a constant! While the immediate planetary alignments have an influence on us right now, often the bigger picture they speak to is LONG. Even though the universe is in constant evolution, the time frames of the planets are relatively steady compared to earth. We are evolving too, but on a much smaller scale - and the stars guide and support us.
