I’m passionate about expanding - and sharing - my understanding of energetic dynamics and the fundamental roles they play in our lives. Patterns that affect us as individuals, and ones that relate to society and the world at large. Humans can, and do, create plenty of chaos and destruction in our joint reality! Yet there are bigger, unseen forces that contribute to and even drive our experience. Our nature is to look for those underlying causes to explain any given time in history.
For thousands of years people have charted and sought to understand the stars and planets. While astrology and astronomy became separated at some point, we can utilize both to understand the complexity of life on earth. Tracking and charting planetary positions and the sun's activity we see predictable cycles, orbits, and other regular movements in our solar system.
The next few months we have synchronistic cosmic influences affecting us; all conspiring to feed an accelerated time of transformation! This is just one of the underlying a longer process of major change we are undergoing.
Sunspots, solar flares and coronal holes create geomagnetic storms and even earthquakes. The electrical grid is vulnerable to “space weather”; a G2 storm preceded blackouts in Puerto Rico and interrupted Zoom and Spotify services. Although variable day to day, the sun does have a cycle of activity; it goes from solar minimum to solar maximum over a 12yr period. We are at the peak of solar activity right now and into 2026.
The “Age of Aquarius” officially started on November 20th, 2024, when Pluto entered the sign of Aquarius. It initiated a revolutionary process that takes place over many years. It also signaled the beginning of a rare cosmic reset that continues into this year. The north node (representing the future) and all five outer planets are moving into zero degrees in new signs.* The zero-degree progression causes a domino effect that also ushers in a new age.
There are other planetary influences occurring right now. Many inner planets are moving from Pisces into Aries. It’s like waking up from a dream and being catapulted into action! Saturn also visits Aries starting May 25th for the summer, taking up residence more permanently this fall (for 29 years). Will Saturn bring more structure to all this earthly action?
A portal is breaking open, an opportunity to help create humanity’s next great evolution. It’s a quantum shift to become free of the constructs of time and space. That allows us to explore different realms and realities while still in a human body. Although it’s a new range of experience, it’s essential to be grounded in the here and now (our central reference point in time and space). We learn to move between many timelines and worlds with intention gradually, one experience after another.
How do we manage ourselves and stay sane during this great upheaval? The touchstones remain constant: expanding awareness; tapping into a source of spiritual sustenance; joining with others to create stability and reinforce common values; and taking care, in big and small ways. It’s hard but necessary to pay attention, stay informed and still foster our own peace of mind. It’s a lot. That’s our challenge!
