The revolution (civil war?) has officially begun. It’s been signaled for the last year, if you’ve been paying attention to astrology (or politics!) June and July were always forecast to be extremely rocky. Looking at humanity’s evolutionary trends, it’s clear the Age of Aquarius was going to be a dramatic shift. Despite setbacks and inevitable pendulum shifts, the overall picture is one of progress. This won’t be an easy time, but the universe is providing energetic support for us along the way.
There is an emerging scientific debate on whether plasma is conscious. Plasma is a fluid in our body; in the environment it’s a highly charged particles called the ”fourth state of matter” that conducts energy and interacts with electromagnetic fields. The planet, humans and trees resonate at a similar frequency called the Schumann Resonances. Last weekend there was a distinct, significant spike – it looked like a single pulse – in that frequency. Were we sent energetic information to inform and enlarge our consciousness?
This support is a two-way street. We must engage– in body, mind and spirit – to meet the moment and receive new energies. Physically, that means putting your bare feet on the earth to ground once a day and putting your body forward to be counted as part of the resistance. Mindfully, to maintain an optimistic bigger picture while staying informed; choosing thoughtful responses vs hasty reactions. (Jupiter just went into Cancer, so feelings are up big time right now!) Spiritually, to connect with community and embody love in action; to express gratitude and pray daily.
The traditional checks and balances of the three branches of the US are failing. It’s truly a defining moment in the country’s history, and the outcome is uncertain. The only thing that will save our democracy is the people resisting an autocratic takeover. As I write this, the President is planning to mobilize the National Guard in democratic cities - Seattle, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and NYC (NBC News). The statute used to send the military into Los Angeles is operative for 60 days, in every state. Was this implemented for the nationwide protests planned on ”No Kings Day” – June 14th, the same day as the massive, obscene military parade to showcase a supreme leader?
A quote from the wannabe king – “For those people who want to protest, they’re going to be met with very big force… I haven’t even heard about a protest… this is people that hate our country.”
A big difference between now and the1960’s cultural revolution is today’s lack of optimism, idealism, and yes, faith! Don’t let cynicism win. We’ve seen what it looks like to close our doors and minds, to go along and retreat into self-protection mode; it happened in Germany during WW2. “Vive la resistance” was a call and expression of solidarity with the French resistance to Nazi occupation. So too, long live the resistance in America – it’s the moment to take a stand against oppression and hate. How will you show up?
