In addition to the work with The McKay Method®, I am interested in integrating fundamental CrainoSacral therapy and Feng Shui into my practice. I am working on the important values of the Feng Shui principles as we heal our bodies and the energies of the spaces we live in. This integration will be an ongoing evolution and I will share with you what I learn along the way. There is also something deep for me in Crainial-Sacral methods and the work of the McKay Method as we incorporate the body’s interstitial fluids and the integrated levels of energy that we practice.

My background includes over 18 years in marketing and communications in the sporting goods industry. My alter-ego has spent a life time intrigued by this course work, as well as the work of Byron Katie, Eckhart Tolle, Barbara Brennan some unusual experiences along the way. As a result, I am very excited to have you along my journey.

Debbie, a Level IV Practitioner of The McKay Method®, brings much passion and energy to her unfolding life path. Her unique background demonstrates an unrelenting patience, understanding, and compassion for all human beings.

Debbie was first called to the world of science. She earned a degree in nursing and worked many years as a neonatal nurse. During this time, she simultaneously pursued her love of nature by running, hiking and riding her beloved horses. As her spiritual curiosity grew, Debbie’s world opened up to many cultural experiences. She traveled the Andes with Shamanic guides, explored Native American traditions such as the Sundance, participated in Journeying and Dream Interpretation facilitated by instructors from The Shamanic Institute, and studied Donna Eden’s energy model. The “Year of the Soul” led Debbie to Bear McKay, where her desire to dig deeper into our higher consciousness was fueled by Bear’s teachings.

While studying with Bear McKay, Debbie combined her love of outdoors, horses and fitness by managing two businesses – Dream Dance Outfitters and Well Approach Fitness. This experience allows her to enhance her ability to deepen her connection to the Universal Source.

At Dreams Dance Outfitters, Debbie is a trusted horseback trail guide in the Beartooth Mountains. Debbie and the horses come together not only to guide, but also to teach and show others the simple yet compelling beauty of nature. Well Approach Fitness is the avenue where Debbie offers physical and energetic well-being. It is her love of working with people and listening to their life stories that propelled Debbie into Energy Healing. Big Timber... Yellowstone River... Sweet Grass County... Crazy Mountains - Places full of wonderful energy and home to me, Gayle Grosfield, born and raised on our fourth-generation ranch north of Big Timber.

After living in Vermont, Germany, Seattle and several places in Montana, I decided the ranch was still the best place for me and decided to return home 12 years ago to set up shop at Janet’s Spa and Salon in June of 2002.

In addition to seeing clients in my massage therapy and energy healing practice, I also teach music at two rural schools and occasionally instruct Tai Chi and Qi Gong classes. Outside of work, my loves are hiking with my dogs and husband, sewing and crafts, photography, gardening and cooking.

After completing the 1000 hour program of Somatic and Asian Bodywork at Big Sky Somatic Institute in Helena, Montana in 2007, I delved into my next quest to learn energy healing at The McKay Method® School of Energy Healing in Bozeman.

What You Can Expect in a Session
We’ll work together over the phone. Please take this time to sit comfortably and relax. I’ll ask a few general questions to get to know you better. I’ll listen to what’s on your mind, and what’s going on in your life. While you and I are talking, I’ll also be in intuitive dialog with your physical body and its energy fields. At times, I’ll be quiet so I can hear your body more clearly and respond to it appropriately. Often, your
body will bring up its own topics for discussion. Throughout our session, I’ll suggest methods you can use afterward to help yourself. I’ll wrap up our session with a few silent
grounding techniques. Afterwards, most clients feel relaxed and energized and ready to embrace what lies ahead.

My name’s Justine and I am the co-owner of Peaceful Heart & Soul Wellness Center in Redmond, Oregon. I work with both People and Animals. I’m passionate about my work and the incredible transformative power it offers.

It is amazing to me that I am now in the Graduate program at The McKay Method® School of Energy Healing. The Foundation Series class and the Advanced Studies two-year program flew by and in the process, I have been deeply enriched. I feel very grateful for each class and for all my fellow travelers on this exciting journey.

Most of my life has revolved around dance. I started studying ballet at a very young age, and moved to New York City to pursue a professional career while still in high school. Entering the world of modern dance I was very fortunate to find work in companies that toured the United States and Europe. Dancing and touring in my late teens and early adult years taught me a lot about myself as well as the places I traveled. Moving west to Los Angeles opened opportunities for teaching, choreographing, and leading my own dance company. It also opened the door to energy healing.

After many years of dancing, I developed severe lower back problems. My dancer friends suggested that I might want to see a “healer”. Having no idea of what a “healer” was, but feeling intrigued and needing relief from my injuries I went to the Healing Light Center. I did find relief from a substantial injury. And, I was hooked after the first session and started my study of energy healing. Following my dance career, I went to college and law school, and my current career path is in Jewish adult education.

I feel very fortunate to have found Bear McKay and to have the ability to continue studying energy healing with a very gifted teacher. I am excited about this path and look forward to bringing the richness that it holds to others.

I am a native Oregonian, born in Portland, and raised in Sherwood. Trained as a teacher in Monmouth, I graduated in 1969. I began teaching in Yamhill, and after my first year, my husband and I moved to Central Oregon. The next 32 years were spent in Redmond persuading middle school students that English, their mother tongue, was not really a foreign language. Redmond is where I now reside, having raised two sons, now career Navy men, and learning about myself through two divorces and one widowhood. I now care for my present husband who is a patient in an adult foster home.

I trained in 1989 for massage through East/West College of Healing Arts out of Portland in a pilot program in Bend. I received my massage license in 1990, and for the next 12 years, I considered massage my second career, but it was really a training ground, and I lovingly called it my ‘expensive hobby.’

Another journey I am beginning is in writing, but that is a tale for a future update...

Patty is a Level IV Practitioner of The McKay Method® and a graduate student of The McKay Method School of Energy Healing in Bozeman, MT. She graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy in 1996 and has worked in both day spa and private practice settings. It was actually a craniosacral class taught by Hugh Milne immediately following UCMT that introduced her to sensing energy during bodywork and this sparked a life-long pursuit of learning more about “energy” in the human body. Some of the various studies Patty pursued over the years include a one-year energy healing program on Vashon Island, WA, Esalen massage and Brazilian shamanism at the Esalen Institute, Big Sur, CA, and a series of channeling classes with Betsy Coffman, Albuquerque, NM. Eventually, her path led her to The McKay Method® School where she continues to study and practice.

Through her gifts of compassion, wisdom, and insight, Phyllis brings healing to your body and spirit. She is a level IV The McKay Method® student practitioner. For 15 years of experience, she has had her own practice as a licensed massage therapist. She has studied other forms of energy healing, (Reiki, level II, therapeutic touch, and theta healing), and she is a Deeksha blessing giver. Since 2002, she has been involved with Impact Trainings, an intensive life-training program. She has coached trainees in the program, assisting them to shift their beliefs and behaviors to create the results they want in their lives. She also is a business associate with New Earth, a company that offers organic, raw, wild, and whole food supplements.

Phyllis is passionate about healthy food, caring for mother earth, and spiritual growth. She loves this work because it allows her to combine all her passions into one package. I began my healing journey in 1991, after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. When I asked my doctor what I could do to get better, he said, "Avoid stress!" Until that moment, I had no clue how my emotional, mental and physical stress had been effecting my body. I am a Level IV Practitioner of The McKay Method® and am currently enrolled in the graduate program of The McKay Method® School of Energy Healing in Bozeman, MT. I am also a licensed Massage Therapist and graduate of the Utah College of Massage Therapy Master Bodyworker Program; class of May 2008. I started my journey with Energy Healing in 2001 after my second son was born.

In search of answers to my own health issues, I was led to The Academy of Life Management in Salt Lake City, Utah; which is owned and operated by Gwyneth McNeil, where I had my first experience with Energy Healing modalities. There I was trained and attuned to Level I & II Reiki Practitioner. Traveling to California in 2002 to visit my mother, who had recently had her leg amputated due to complications from a botched pedicure at her podiatrist’s office, I offered a Reiki treatment to her and she had a profound experience of relief that had not occurred even with medication since the infection began. This event led me to explore energy healing more in depth. I was so impressed by Reiki that I went on to receive my Reiki Master Attunement. In 2002, Denise Silvernail of Healing Hearts Studio came into my life and had a huge influence on my career choices. She became my healer, mentor and close friend; inspiring me to pursue Massage and Bodywork.

As a newly Licensed Massage Therapist, I received a plethora of flyers in the mail for my continuing education opportunities. One flyer in particular came year after year and every time I received it I felt something tug on my heart. Finally, in February of 2013, I answered that still small voice and responded to the flyer and went to hear Bear McKay talk about her School of Energy Healing. I was privileged to be the person Bear used to demonstrate to the rest of the class some of her techniques. I had fallen on my tailbone twice the prior winter and had excruciating pain in my low back whenever I sat down. Bear addressed the issue without my telling her anything about the pain or event that led to the pain. As a result of her work that day, I was immediately relieved and ultimately healed! When that talk and demonstration was through, I knew I had to enroll no matter the cost; it was time to learn from this Amazing Soul!

I am very grateful to be a part of this program. The McKay Method has given me tools and techniques that are effective in addressing not only human physiology but the unique energy patterns that develop over a lifetime. I’m especially thankful for the results my clients and I are enjoying as I employ these tools and techniques.

Hello, my name is Tamara Leach!

I am what they call a Cheese Head, born and raised in Wisconsin. I love the land, but the name just didn’t work for me so I moved to South Dakota in 1995 in pursuit of becoming a massage therapist. After my graduation, I began apprentice teaching at the massage school I attended and found a passion for teaching. Deciding that South Dakota just doesn’t work for a tree-loving, outdoors kind of girl like me, I moved to Montana in 2000.

I have been practicing massage since 1996 and over the years was drawn to the information under my hands for which there was no language. The physical information was strewn everywhere but the subtle way that the body talks was not. The McKay Method® was my introduction to a language for the energetic aspect of the body. Beautiful! Over the past few years, I have been blending the techniques together to meet my client’s needs. My passion is working with clients on as many levels of their being as they are ready to work with, be it physical, emotional or mental, and spiritual. I take this into my passion for teaching as well, working with students wherever they are in their evolution!

Besides working with the human race, in my spare time, I love to hang with my dogs, Root and Maggie and my husband Chet, and our beautiful daughter, Anna Rose. We enjoy hiking, fishing, gardening (part of the reason Root has his name), traveling, camping, reading and just relaxing!

Before beginning her healing studies, Vicki earned a B.A. from the University of Minnesota, and was the director of a Classical Studies program at a private school.

A deep belief in the healing power of nature inspired her to study herbs, crystals, and essential oils, eventually leading her to energy healing. Through her expertise and experience as a teacher and counselor, she hopes to help people understand their emotional and physical patterns, and develop balance between body, mind and spirit.
